GALAXY: Monoliths of Light and Cosmic Depth

The GALAXY series represents one of the most mesmerizing achievements in Master Eros Raffael's artistic journey. In this collection, Murano glass transforms into cosmic matter, capturing the mystery, infinite depth, and grandeur of outer space.

The Concept: Cosmic Nebula Suspended in Glass

As the name reveals, each artwork in the series is designed as a sculptural monolith that encapsulates the visual wonder of an expanding galaxy. Swirling color pigments, mineral reactions, and glowing nebulae appear weightlessly suspended within a solid, monolithic glass frame.

The Technique: A Pioneering Hybrid of Furnace Work & Glass Casting

To achieve such extraordinary visual depth, Master Eros Raffael invented an innovative hybrid technique combining traditional Furnace glassblowing with Glass Casting:

Furnace Hot Work: The core galaxy motif and rich color compositions are handcrafted at extreme temperatures using traditional Venetian furnace techniques.

Glass Casting: The furnace-crafted core is then encapsulated within a thick mass of optical-quality cast glass. This casting process creates the final monolithic sculpture while acting as a natural magnifying lens that dramatically amplifies the internal depth and light refractions.

One-of-a-Kind Collector's Masterpieces (1/1)

Due to the intricate technical process and the organic behavior of glass under intense heat, every monolith in the GALAXY series is a strictly UNIQUE PIECE (1/1). No two sculptures will ever display the same cosmic swirls, color density, or internal refractions.
