Eros Raffael is recognized as one of the few master glass makers in the world able to master all the main glass processing techniques, from traditional blowing to cold processing, from castings to the most contemporary experiments.
His deep knowledge of the subject is not limited to the preservation of tradition: Eros is also an innovator, a tireless researcher, capable of developing and patenting new techniques that expand the expressive possibilities of glass.
His art was born in the wake of the great Muranese tradition, but it is distinguished by a personal, contemporary and recognizable language. Each of his works is the result of a balance between technical rigor, artistic sensitivity and continuous experimentation.
Eros Raffael is also a Glass Master at the prestigious Abate Zanetti Glass School in Murano and was a professor of Glass Art at the Istituto Superiore di Abate Zanetti, where he passed on to the new generations not only technical skills, but also an evolutionary vision of glass as a living and constantly evolving form of art.
