Eros Raffael is recognised as one of the few master glass workers in the world capable of mastering all the main glass processing techniques, from traditional blowing to cold processing, from fusions to the most contemporary experiments. His deep knowledge of the subject is not limited to the preservation of tradition: Eros is also an innovator, a tireless researcher, capable of developing and patenting new techniques that expand the expressive possibilities of glass.
His art was born in the vein of the great Muranese tradition, but it is distinguished by a personal, contemporary and recognisable language. Each of his works is the result of a balance between technical rigour, artistic sensitivity and continuous experimentation.
Eros Raffael is also a teacher at the prestigious Abate Zanetti Glass School in Murano and a professor of Glass Art at the Higher Institute Abate Zanetti, where he transmits to the new generations not only technical skills, but also an evolutionary vision of glass as a form of living and constantly changing art.
